I got to help survivors of Katrina...I'm the only Arizona wedding photographer to have photos selected for a beautiful fine art coffee table book featuring pre-hurricane New Orleans. Check this out:

AsukaBook USA in Bend, Oregon, Victor Sizemore and other professional photographers around the United States, have developed a fundraising effort for Hurricane Katrina victims. Beautiful and rare images of New Orleans taken by top professional photographers before the disaster, have been compiled into a high-quality coffee table style book. This beautiful 40 page book will include fine art images from 11 amazing photographers. These hard-cover books, with a translucent slip cover, will be printed in a limited edition run of 500. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Make a donation now at the Kubota Image Tools website, www.KubotaImageTools.com. The New Orleans AsukaBook will be given to the first 500 people who donate $60 or more to the relief project. After the 500 sell out, no more will be printed. All proceeds will go to aid agencies for direct support of victims of Hurricane Katrina.

So cool! about a gazillion years ago I was asked to submit photos for a book...they're published! Kevin from Lark Publishing just e-mailed to let me know that the 2nd Edition of Wedding Photography by Steve Sint is out and several images made it in.

Happy Valentine's Day! How fun to celebrate this special day by packing to move into our new digs! We can't wait to welcome our favorite couples to our Scottsdale Home~Gallery. It's so peaceful there, what a wonderful space to discuss your wedding photography needs. We anticipate being fully in by the end of March, so keep checking back for updates.

Did a really fun job today, photographing amenities at Caleo Resort in Scottsdale. Those lucky guests, getting to stay at such a meditative and intriguing resort and having such yummy goodies available, too. The photo above was my favorite.
